About Alli
I’ve been teaching, tutoring, and coaching in one way or another for nearly two decades. Whether I’m out on the soccer field with a group of energetic U10 players, or helping a student build confidence in their writing or reading skills, I bring a strengths-based, encouraging approach that meets each learner where they are.
My teaching journey began in the classroom at the Landmark School in Massachusetts, working with students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences. That’s where I received intensive training in the Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing (LiPS) program and saw what a huge difference in could make.
I also have lots of experience coaching youth soccer and teaching adult learners. I specialize in and have a passion for working with neurodiverse kids and families.
In addition to my work as a coach and teacher, I’ve spent years leading international research teams, writing reports, and editing materials for diverse audiences. These experiences have sharpened my eye for detail and given me a deep appreciation for clear, engaging communication.
I believe that learning thrives in an environment where people feel safe, seen, and supported—and that applies on the field, in the classroom, and anywhere in between. In my life and all services, I am trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ plus affirming.
